What's your occupation?
Some of us are proud of what we do and some wish to be doing something else. Either way, we all wish to be payed more right? Well, for me, I work in the heating and air field. The up side is that I have the knowledge to know how your typical furnace or air conditioning system operates and how to fix it if it goes kaput. I can fashion most things from sheetmetal and got the pretty tools to do it (expensive after awhile). For the most part I like what I do. The down side is that I don't get to enjoy the fruits of my labor from the heat, or I get dirty as all get out from climbing under houses or changing out ducts or units out of attics. Other than that, I like being able to tell someone what exactly is wrong with their system. I also do rain gutter and roof flashing as per the sheetmetal skills. It's nothing that you have to go to any schools for, but it does crack me up when someone spends $25,000 towards a 14 month trade school to learn the same things that I know that I learned for free. I think I'd be doing this if I won the lotto, I'd just have more days off. :)
