I've been wondering, so I have a TM FAMAS F1 and I was curious as to if it would be possible to exchange the old eg560 motor for something newer and more reliable because I have a stronger spring installed in it already and I can tell when I shoot it that the motor definitely doesn't sound the same when it was stock, and I have a feeling it's not going to last long sounding like that.
If I am not mistaken, the FAMAS uses a proprietary motor.
You might be right, cause on the famas by the selector switch is a spring release button to release the tension on the spring after you'v fired some rounds. I dont think i've seen that on any other guns, so maybe it does use a propriety motor?
The spring tension release is nothing too special. Its just a bar that pushes on the anti reversal latch so your gears can cycle back to a relaxed position.
