NBB silencing

Oct 14, 2005 5:31am
So I was wondering if there is a way to silence, muffle, or redirect the noise from a NBB. I know that there are foam filled silencers that work a little (mainly for AEG's), but I was wondering if there is a way to make a definite silencer. I want to shoot somebody and have them looking for me, and not find me, instead of flinching from the loud burst of gas.

try a regular silencer. maybe they work for it just as effectively...

Foam-Filled-Suppressor or FFS will quite it down. Most of the noise from a gbb is the slide cycling anyways...a nbb doesnt have that problem.
In close range combat, an unsuspecting melon will get the back of its melon blown off.

well my NBB is shooting about 485 fps, so it's moving a lot of gas.

what nbb do you have that shoots about 485 fps... and with what grain of bb?
God save us everyone will be burning inside the fires of a thousand suns.

It's a mk1 carbine, So it falls under the "sniper" category. Chronoed with 20s, but I use 28s or 36s. I am in the process of installing a custom tight bore barrel. I have a 650mm psg-1 barrel coming in the mail which means a few hours on the lathe for me. Might take awhile though, it's coming from HK.
