Hey terry I hope ur havin fun in ITB I graduaduated nov. 19th and go to MCT on the 30th!! I'm on boot leave now chillin with the family for thanksgiving. ya i know what your talking about for the saber system. yah its called a CLU. no e at the end. that hooks latched onto the javelin missle. The javelin is expensive as hell, each missle is like 80k or so. thats what weve been told but ive heard different instructors say diferent thngs. price ranging for 20k-80k. and as for the Javelin the system gets used quite a bit actually. the CLU is 250k, but the whole set up for the saber system that shoots the tow is 1.7mil. those missles are cheaper than the JAvelin ones tho. ya the tow is wire gided with the max range of a certain tow missle we have being 4500m just shy of 2.8 miles i think. and ya you guide it to its target and blow it the fuck up. the tow 2b aero is sick thats the general purpose round we'll be using.
