has anybody noticed how expensive these red dots are i mean WTF????? they are like 600$ are they that good?? i've seen red dots for like 60$ why would you need a 600$ sight for an airsoft gun thats about the same price. honestly i couldn't think of a possible need for this sight. i was wondering if anybody has these sights and can help me compare these sights to a less pricey red dot.

It is made for real firearms, and they will hold up on real firearms. You get what you pay for.

It's not worth it for airsoft in my opinion. Expensive ones are made for real guns and real hard use. They can put up with being bashed around and with recoil from the guns they are mounted on. Cheaper red dots for airsoft or pellet guns will get the job done for the most part (though there are always exceptions). People who put real Aimpoints, Trijicons or whatever else on their airsoft guns probably do it because they have one on hand from their real guns or just for authenticity's sake.
