what would be the easiest and cheapest way to put a scope on an ak 47? for the gun i want to put one on there is not a rail where you would normally put a scope, there is only one on the foregrip. i really want to put a scope on it (i dont care what type just one that i can mount and aim with :) ) and it seems like putting it on the rail on the foregrip puts the scope just a little too far away from the eye. any advice?

What brand gun and model. There a different scope mounting options depending on what the make of your gun is.

If you want a way to get a magnifying scope on the fron mount like you have then you could get a scout/pistol scope and mount it there. I personally think that it would look weird but you might think otherwise.
thanks andrew, i was planning on getting a red dot anyways but how exactly would that rail be mounted on the gun, i cant tell from the picture. i mean i know where it goes and all, just not how it connects to the gun. thanks again

Flip your gun upside down and look in front of the mag well and before the front handguard. You should see two phillips head screws. The scope mount will attach there and also a point in front of your rear sight where there should also be a screw.

ok i see the first two but is the other one the screw that is for the rear site because i cant see any other one

The third one is on the left side of the rifle about a 1/2 inch in front of the pivot point of the rear sight. Once you get the mount in your hands you'll see exactly how it mounts. It is very simple.
