Verizon Wireless just sent a great $300 bill. SWEET!
[quote="Amateur Ninja"]obviously you dont know him.
I' ve talked to a bunch of people that have had this kinda things happen after they verizon/surewest switch and they all managed to get there bill knocked back down to what it normally was. I'd give them a call and try... it can't hurt.

Verizon suxs at customer service. They sent me a 500$ bill for a phone line I DIDNT HAVE!. Yet they still demanded that I pay for this imaginary line that I only use in my dreams.
Had the same thing happen to me with my texts, but with Cingular.. had a 250 bill. Luckily my cousin was the store manager at the Cingular off Calvine and 99. He just played stupid and said he forgot to change my account to a better text plan and I didn't have to pay :)
You think $300 is bad? My sister went to Israel over the summer and Verizon told her that her phone was international and their would be no extra charges. So she used her phone as normal throughout her month long vacation. She returned home to a $3,000 bill. Apparently, Israel is not international. It's part of another planet or something. When she tried to fight it they showed her a fine print rule that Israel is one of like 3 countries that are not included in the international plan.
tell them to screw off... ditch them, go to AT&T, get an iPhone with the unlimited text and data and the 39.99 calling plan... I pay $80 a month with my government discount and all I do is text mostly.
Heh. I don't use cell phones. I just use Skype. Even on most coms today (what used to be called Smart Phones) there's usually a skype application that you can download.
Armalites? Psch, Armalites are for good guys.
same happened to me, but I went over my limit my 1,400 texts, and had to upgrade to the next plan or they would charge me a $50 fee
Humm.... $50 or $300... or $3000. I think you got off kinda easy :D

16 dollars for 500 texts? That's such a rip. 15 dollars is the avg. norm for unlimited text on any carrier.
