SERPA Holster
Will a TM Foliage Warrior fit a SERPA Holster? It has a rail on the bottom, so I was not sure. Also, their website has two 1911 holsters: the 1911 "commander" and the 1911 "Government." Which would I need?

I currently have a TM Night Warrior that's similar in design. It can fit the Serpa LVL2 but you'd need to remove the rail. There is a LVL3 Serpa holster that can fit a tactical light along with the pistol which is more than likely the one you want.
Removing the rail is what I'll probably end up doing anyways, as I don't plan on adding a taclight. What still concerns me is whether or not to get the Government or Commander CQC Model holster.

Well...look at it this way. When you shoot yourself in the leg because of that piece of shit holser, at least it'll be a 6mm BB.....

I have three Serpa Holsters and One real Steel Glock, One airsoft TM Glock and one airsoft KWC S&W M&P 40.
I think I will go with a Serpa, I would just like to know if the gun will fit in one.

The problem with that is that I don't have the pistol yet, I am just doing research, seeing what to buy.

ok how do you shoot yourself in the foot with a serpa? The trigger is covered by the holster and cannot be pressed while in the holster and you keep your finger off the trigger when drawing or holstering how do you shoot your self in the leg?

It happens when your don't fully index your finger along the release button. Some people bend their finger and use the tip of it to press the button in. This sometimes causes you to end up with your finger on the trigger. That can cause an accidental discharge. The problem isn't the holster, it's the training said person has received. You should always release the button with your finger straight and use the pad of your finger to push the release button in. Yes I speak from experience, I own 2 SERPA's.
My favorite moment at ASBG:
I've been working with a serpa for a couple months now, I know try not to faint.
Just to add from experience

Life is a bummer if you're not a drummer!
Don't really want to necro post here, but I came across this video and rememberd this thread. It is very relevant and a good eye opener.

I hesitated and ended up not posting this video when it first came out. Sacair ends up being like most gun forums and I didn't feel like slapping fools around about it. There has been lengthy discussion about this incident and how he and the Serpa holster contributed to it.

It was obviously his fault. With that, certain systems do make accidents more readily availible.

Is there any serpa holsters that will fit the kwa ATP?? I realize that it's not out yet and I don't think anyone has tried but it wouldn't hurt to ask right.

I just completed my semi-annual requalification this past Sunday. I fired my G17C and drew from my Serpa holster.
