i would like to get a drop in gearbox for my m16 to convert it into a spr. i don't know what brand to get. as i've only found systema, but they are a bit to much for me.

By dropping in a gearbox does magically make it an spr yo. You can always upgrade the parts that you absolutely need for your desire. Or look around for someone to sell their personal upgrade gearbox, it happen every now and then.

A lot of times, people dont know how or simply realize its cheaper to drop in.

i would like to achieve a fps at around 475 and disable full auto, but i would like to replae my gearbox since its getting pretty old and things break more easily now

There are several brands that make drop-ins... I've had good luck w/ the guarder "drop-ins" from wgcsop.com
