I got a tunic from reww2.com. Stitching is a well done, i've played in it at airsoft, holds very well. my Grandpa has a real uniform, I looked at his and mine, look almost the same. Made from real wool. But its your choice, I personally try to find the best deals anywhere, but if you want ATF, well be my guest. Just saying, reww2.com is a cheap affordable place to buy realistic tunics.

They all get scared off by my equipment list, for which I am unyielding. they can start a farb unit if they are looking for mass market appeal, but so far i have not even seen that much interest. If someone has a real interest in the period im all about helping them "i wanna dreess like COD" types, fuck them
I know it is a sin to be a "farb" but I would rather see 20 farbs than 1 perfect impression.

I don't expect perfect impressions, hell mine is not even close but I do expect the elements that are there to be representative of historical fact. for the 12th I'd rather see a guy in a 44 dot set with an m4 then a full impression of wrong stuff. The farb comment is not really about gear, Its about a state of mind. especially with SS things you have to make sure people are here for the right reasons, mutilating history for the sake or personal fantasy is a slippery slope with anything, even more so with this.
I know at least one person poked their nose in the 502nd with the idea of just showing up wearing brown / tan BDU's and they weren't given much more of a glance after that comment. I do wonder how much of the farb comes from simple lack of knowledge. Only time will tell....

im very happy you are getting into ww2 airsoft but that setup needs some work to jive with us. If you have your mind open to historical fact id be happy to help you tune this setup into something that would work for a 12th impression, I admire the effort you are willing to put into this lets focus that on something that does the facts justice.
I may know that my uniform is an early war and the stg44 is more late war, but they didn't throw away the old uniforms when the new ones came. Hitler youth knife is not on my uniform, I like it as a decor, but still no. Since most of you have m43s, its a little of a knot for me, though i just found another website with really cheap gear. Its called military harbor. M43 enlisted tunics, 60 bucks. All german repro on this web. back to subject, Did many 12th SS wear 36 tunics, ive looked it up, but really didn't find much for that.

woops, did I say pistol belt, sorry, I meant just a regular German belt with SS buckle. When you say Sell it and get better gear, do you mean just the pistol or the whole impression? On a 44 dot set, you mean enlisted uniform, or a smock? Roger on the eagle on sleeve, keep getting mixed that the Heer have the breast eagle. How do you mean tabs aren't going to fit well and suffice? Sorry for the questions, its just i've been researching Americans side of ww2 since I was 7 and now just hitailed around to the Germans just a year ago. Trying my best to piece it together. right now im trying to my sl8 for extra money for the impression, well actually im selling all my modern gear, just don't have a heart for it. Confirmed that I will make it on the 27th. I hope to see more germans out there. Oh yah that gear I listed, that is the gear I am going to get, sorry if I mixed you up on thinking that was all my gear right now, will get it once sl8 is gone.
