101st Airborne Airsoft Unit
I would REALLY like to make one unit like you 12thss guys have, however I don't want to leave anyone out who is wanting to do ww2. Since most of the people who seem serous about this are wanting to do a para impression (and I already have one) it makes sence to do airborne. But I wanted to take a vote before I made a desicion about it. If there are people out there who are interested but not said anything to me about it now is a good time to chim in as well.

Well I've been interisted in ww2 impressions for awhile, but it so exspensive and I've already got a full current Army load with an m16a4 so changing over would be very difficult for me

You do know that the 101st had a glider unit that had leg infantry right? look up glider infantry.

Ok, that's what I thought you were saying, it's a VERY good idea. I think that sounds like perfect solution.

The 327th Glider Infantry Regiment was part of the 101st Airborne.
There we go. Those of us who want to be bad a-- paratroopers can be, and we can mock our less fortunate partners from the air, who didn't get the same amount of pay, and still had a crazy hard job.
heres a web site about the 101st airborne and the units with in it.
60% of the time it works, every time.
I was thinking about doing a combat engineering soldier.
326th Airborne Engineer Battalion. Part of the 101st. That would be a REALLY cool impression actully.

you guys are going to be walking back to respawn allot so you might want to stick to impression that don't use allot of gear...like cooks and shit. :D
Hey I already called dibs on being the cook!! If I was going allied I'd say infantry. Otherwise I might mock up a powerwheels to look like a Sherman and roll around as a tank!!

damn thats an awesome deal!
Even if you aren't doing let, most of that stuff is useful for airborne as well. AWESOME DEAL. Someone better jump on that.

Ha ha.. we are going to have a mostly 101st unit. With lost SAS and 82nd guys fighting with us.

I couldn't agree more. There would be no point in doing this if we didn't do it right and honor those men who we can only imagine what they sacrificed for our freedom.

If I weren't way too old to pass for a WWII trooper, I might think about it.
