Stay away from sniper rifles if you are new.

Well, a cheap rifle will give you crappy performance. You might end up being out gunned by aegs quite easily so the decision is up to you. You can save up and not jump into sniping right away. You might spend more money replacing broken parts on a cheap gun than you would spend getting a decent sniper rifle.
+1 to both posts. sniping is more of a play style then the gun you are use. get your self a CA sport line and give airsoft a try for a few months before you go out and spend money on a sniper rifle.
I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and sweat.
im not new to the game, however im knew to the brands and types of guns. so is that sniper bad then? i plan on getting a new spring, and making it shoot further.

I pretty much agree with everything posted so far.

i am going to have to agree with everyone else even though nothing of this is what you wanted to hear. do what you will. but to have successful sniper rifle you have to max everything out. unless your willing to spend the money on all of that. and actually last game i was at. one of the guys had an agm vsr10 clone and the bolt broke in the first game. and if you have enough money to upgrade everything then i would just buy a real tm.
