The EBR is good. For the area I am at I feel it should be almost more of a standard issue weapon. The combat is ranged a lot of the time. It is a bit heavy(yes a lot more than the airsoft), Id say loaded it weighs in about 15 pounds. Not bad, but compared to a 9 pound m4 when you already have 60-70lbs of gear it can make you suck. The ammo of course is also a lot heavier. One good thing is I carry 200 rounds of linked 7.62 for the 240b gunner, I could delink those if I were to go black on ammo - Havent had to yet thankfully.
