TM or TM clone you could messure the inner barrel and tell me how long it is exactly. I'm trying to find a tightbore for my m1 carbine and having trouble finding a barrel. Thanks.

440mm Remember that m14 inner barrels are different. you cannot use standard aeg barrels.

Crap.. that's going to make things a lot harder, but it explains my problem with the last barrel I tried. Darn. Now I have no idea what I am going to do, maybe I'll have to use a differant hopup or something. Anyone make custom barrels???

Thanks but I needed a shorter barrel, I shortened the whole gun and I need a barrel that's only about 405mm+/-, without being able to use a normal AEG barrel I may have switch hopups to be able to use a shorter barrel. I actully choped my inner barrel and got it working OK.. but it's pretty inaccurate.

Did you "de-burr" or crown the inside of the barrel after chopping it?

I did the best I could be debur it, and actully made it worse. I recut it and didn't mess with it and it's a lot better, but still kinda off. I actully think it wouldn't be that hard to use another hopup and modify the feed tube for it... mostly just lenghen the feed tube. I'll come up with something...

How did you go about cutting it?

I used a dremel and used a flat screw driver to clean it up, I also used an exacto knife to clean it up. It worked OK... but I would rather get a new barrel that isn't chopped.
