well i heard that the y&p's are pretty reliable for green gas so i was thinking of getting a y&p socom mk23 non-BB

DO NOT! Trust me get some sort of Tokyo Marui! You will be glad you did. Plus if you really get back into it, I can customize some TM's for you.

No they don't, at least I really like my sig226 It shoots straight and consistent.

I don't think TM's will ever suck. there pistols are still rock solid along with all there aeg's and rifle platforms. IT just seems that other manufacturers are stepping up there game and coming out with comparable rifles that are reliable and around the same price. Out of all the guns i have owned my TM gspec and TM AK where my favorites just because i know neither one would ever break on me. I've had a TM m4 that was pretty nice too and a POS clone AK that got full upgrades and still didn't perform as good as it should have. Right now i have a CA sportline that seems like it will be a really nice gun but it needs to be put through the test of time. Pistols I have owned are a KWA G17 which was ok but had some issues, and i just purchased a TM 1911 that seems very good and we will see how long that lasts before something needs to be replaced
