so i just got a tanaka m700 but this is my first gas gun. first, the gun is stock except for a prometheus tightbore and some work on the mag by pinnacle airsoft. its shooting about 610fps right now, but i was wondering what it would shoot if i bought a spare stock mag. like my question is what did the mag adjustment do as far as fps?
1. I HIGHLY doubt that pinnacle airsoft modified the valve to release more air, so if you were to buy a new stock mag, it should be the same fps.
ok cool thanks. on the last one, how bad is it to release the air after every use. should i keep that to a minimum or is it fine to do that.
Keep a tiny bit of gas in the mags to keep the seals fresh.

ok so ill clean the hopup. but what does the silicon have to do with anything. are you saying that it builds up in the hopup?

the tanaka hopup is really inaccurate, you'll want to upgrade to a king arms/2roy vsr hop conversion and get yourself a vsr barrel.

well at the moment i dont have much money to invest into a new hopup anyway. but if i have problems with it ill look into a new one later. but i do have another question.
