I just got this sniper rifle in the mail today and i shot it a couple of times. i was very impressed be cause out of the box it shoots 450 FPS with .2 g BBs. But here's the problem i also tried .25g BBs and they still curved up extremely badly and the hop wasn't even on. I also want to upgrade it to about 500 FPS, so to do this, is it just a piston and spring swap or what else? And what BBs do you recommend? Thanks for all the help!!!
Typically, the higher the fps, the heavier the pellet needed... I use .43g ammo for my APS2 (540 fps)
the only upgrades made for the utg m324 are custom made by edGI. they're available for purchase here: http://www.edgicustom-usa.com/ In order to get up to 500fps and have your gun still be functional, you'll need the sears, spring guide, piston, cylinder, and cylinder head on top of whichever spring you want to use.
