Ok the 65w power supply cable for my HP broke, can a 95w power cable run the thing SAFELY without damaging it or do I need to buy the replacement one. Thanks for your help.

If the voltage is correct is should work just fine, many of the Generic Targus-Fit-All power adapters have a higher Amperage because it is more harmful to under-supply the device.
