i have a CA SCAR-L and the gun recently stoped firing i broke down the gun and discovered the rubber seal within the hopup unit was completely shredded. so i bought a new seal but while at aex the guy noticed i was missing the little rubber cylinder that creates the bullet spin, i made a make-shift cylinder for temporary uses, however the gun still wont fire i have made shure that the seal is correctly in place and could use some help diagnosing the problem. I have also checked the cylinder and it appears to fit in the slot flawlessly, i also glued the tips of the wire so the copper wouldn't fall out, and dryed it correctly. i would guess it is the wire that is the problem but i want to be shure before i spend 40$ on a new hopup unit.

i beleive peter at AEX-oakland snipped a 3mm long 16 or 18gauge piece of wire to use
The cylinder you are referring to, most people refer to it as a hop nub. Might make things a little easier.
