This vest is the most expensive one I have ever seen! And that's coming from a guy w/ a $750 Safariland vest in his room.=)

I think it may be the real armor, not just the plate carrier. It would explain the costs

It is, but my Safariland is a real plate carrier and it only cost $750.

I wouldn't wear anything BlackHawk, even if it was given to me. There are way better options out there.

My dad works for DVI and they issued him a stab proof vest around that price.

Not really. Good armor cost that much. Your life depends on it. If your life depends on it you will shell it out. That being said dont buy Black Hawk.

I agree with Andrew. However, They are known as KNOCK-HAWK in the industry. They copy everyone elses designs and have them made in Vietnam. Do some research and you get the picture. They even copied some of my designs...Grrr.... :x
