So far the total cost of this project has been about $60. I had to buy the PCV barrel, the U bolts for the barrel, the metel frame of the blast shield, some cut off wheels, epoxy, and some welding wire. Other then that I had all the parts around here to use for this.

if you need help i aint got too much shit to do. im good at destroying shit but am good for holding stuff ;)

even with out paint it still looks really awesome! i can not wait to see that thing painted and being towed down the highway by a little red toyota.

Wow, got lots of work done today. Still have to build the shin skirt, and side parts of the ammor, add end caps to the lower tube, and one of the fenders is rubbing the tire and has to be bent. I also had to touch up the paint tomorrow. But tomorrow it should be DONE.

yeah sorry, an hd camera is on my "to get" list, until then, the 3gs will do, but, regardless of seeing the round in the air, you hear that satisfying thump when it hits the target, a sound everyone should get very used to hearing

Looks awesome and scary. It puts a shiver down my bones knowing that it will fire at me someday. But I got ways of taking it out. I think I still have some v1 buzz bombs still laying around :twisted:

so mr apple... since this is the first piece of field artillery i have ever seen, how do we render it dead/useless (assuming i am on the enemy team)? kill the ppl operating it or what? does shooting it with a bazooka kill it? i guess im asking what are the rules regarding field artillery?

its still a heavy caliber gun that could easily be used to destroy buildings if u shot it at a building so :P ....and besides, i didnt ask u, i asked hairy apple :P

Hum, I guess it will just depend on the game, and what it's being used for in the game. Sometimes it will be an objective, other times it will be just a weapon being used like a bazooka to knock out hard points like buildings and bunkers. 90% of the time, I won't bother dragging to the field... ha ha.
