Okay well is there a way to fix it? Can a new bolt be found somewhere?...

I never tightened it, it was kept stock....

Some how the bolt that holds the bottom halve of the magazine to the upper halve stripped. The bolt threads at the tip are gone. ...

yes thank you, I think the piston is getting stuck, that is what it seems to be, the shimming seems fine they move freely with the spring/piston/tapet...
