I have a y&p mk23 socom, and in order to adjust the hopup i have to take off the slide because it is in the core of the slide. when i put it up,it fires waaay up, like it should, when i put it down. its still going up but a little less the when its all the way up. should i take it in or can i fix it at home?

use heavier bbs. this will decrease the amount the bb goes up and increase accuracy. but a better suggestion is to get the TM mk23

Y&P pistols have a very small allen wrench that fits in a small hole in the top of the slide (barrel) to adjust hop

thankyou for the help. but i took my slide off and i could not locate the part anywhere around my barrel
