I heard back in the day it didnt matter, you could roll with what ever type of weapon and it would be good :)

Grunt units were pretty set on what they used, the M14 early in the conflict, the M16 for the rest of it.Seen the occasional Grease gun thrown in.AK variants, not so much as there was the risk of being lit up by friendly fire and getting ammo.

for the vn reconners, white, tobin and even though i don't 'airsoft' anymore, we're always looking for vc/nva. i can teach these guys just so much on tactics without some kind of an opfor. and it would really be nice to get someone besides my daughter out there as vc/nva.
