Hello all.
I changed my handle. I was originally "Lead_Finger" but didn't like the sound of it anymore.

Yes, I believe the #1 rule is have fun! I was worried about getting laughed at the first couple times because I am one of the only girls but everyone is there for the same thing, fun, so it all works out! :D

Where are you located at. I have some friends with "inadequate" equipment and are new. I agree with the other posters as well.

I dont think you will be laughed at for using a springer. First of all its how you use the gun and not the game itself. and besides i have heard stories of certain people here who have used the so called "Springer Of Doom"

the one thing you will notice from the very beginning with these guys is that they all are willing to offer any and all of the info or advice they can, and have a level of patience for 'newbies' that is truly impressive.

I have always acted in self defense, occasionally pre-emptive self defense.

Hey brotha, also check out TM's "Sportline" packages. They're higher quality than the Big 5 aeg's but for an extremely affordable price. I don't know 'bout upgradability, but they'll definitely get ya through some games.

Any safety glasses rated ANSI Z87.1 or higher will work. The rating will be visible on the lens somewhere (usually at the top).

OK, My son has some goggles he got with his gun made by Crosman. His say "CZ87+S" on them. Are they good?

Welcome ~ I also live in Lincoln and it is quick drive out to Nam from here. I have been playing for only four months, big paintball habits before that. My wife just started playing and now she has her own AEG and pistol. She "hates guns" but had a great time out at the last Nam game I know "go figure" ':P'
