I kinda don't care for the front end of the gun. I picked it up from the front hand grip and it started coming apart. I hope I do not have to use this thing with kid gloves? Can't go into a skirmish like that. I does fire nice though.

note: DO NOT PICK IT UP FROM THE FRONT!!!!!!! *HAS BEEN EDITED BY SNOOPY FOR CONTENT-age*.... ....i mean breakage. best bet is to pick it up by the body, since it has no carry handle

Ya Ya, hahahaha...

Oh wait you really can't pick these things up from the front!! The whole barrel slide out. I don't get it? My M4A1 stock does not have this problem? This is not worth 900.00 bucks as far as I am concerned. I am really scared about my M249 custom gun from AEX?????

Really is trhis normal for the whole front assembly to be loose? The thing does not stay together very well at all. It rocks back and forth. Anyone?
Jan 29, 2004 1:24am
yea, you can pick it up from the front......... take your RIS off and there are a few HEX screws you need to tighten to make the outer barrel stop wobbeling. There should be 3 screws you can tighten I think. That will fix your problem, and no, the whole front assembly will not slide off  lol.

I should just send it back. That sucks that I paid way to much for a product that I thought would be ready for skirmishing out of the box. They said that they check and fire all guns before they send them out. Now I wonder if I can cancel my M249 order, because that was hella lot of money and I will not take something like this, for that.
Jan 29, 2004 1:49am
whats "faulted" about it? all m4a1s do that, you just have to do something about it... tightening screws is something that you have to do every so often anyways. And how is it not ready to be skirmished with?
Jan 29, 2004 1:54am
I am just saying that after spending 900.00 bucks the barrel should not fall apart. I am new to this and thought buying a product for that much money would be solid, from the start.

I am just agro with this whole thing. I did as you guys said and tightened the loose bolt and now that is fine. Thanks for the input.
