I know, I know....everyone tells me... you get what you pay for!! I recently went really cheap and got a (Boyi) DBoys C-Mag 3000 battery operated magazine. I finally found where the batteries go and after installing them... the dam thing started to smoke and I actually got a burn fom one of the wires. So I removed the batteries and made sure they were installed correctly and got the same result (minus another burn).
