I have all my survival shit loaded out in surplus pelican cases. I would set up a tent on the roof, saw a hole into the garage and venture forth as needed to grab my shit. Our benelli m4 and a fuck ton of ammoz would for sure be my first grab.

Well, San Luis Obispo is the shits to be in since there is really only one way out...except the ocean but since Zeds don't need to breathe or swim they could grab a person when they would swim out to the boats. (assuming they haven't left already that is). However, due to the my job with the University Police I know the location of the armory on campus :twisted:. Living on top of my dorm is a plus since the stairs could be blocked with debris. Have plenty of rope to get off without the use of stairs. Food and water would be a priority since if Zack cant get to me there is no need for weapons and ammo. Keeping a travel pack is also a must for that "shit gets fucked up" moment. Hopefully will be able to make a plan to get back to my home since it is isolated. Other than that, aim for the head and make sure they're dead.
I don't carry a gun to scare people.

Seeing that I already live in the middle of no where, my plan would pretty much be just stay here. There is enough ammo and food here to last quite a while aready. Plus, in any zombie movie ever, I have never seen them swim. With that in mind, I may dig a large ditch around the house and then attach it to the pond and make a midevil mote. Hum... I should do that anyway, it would be kinda cool.

Max Brooks Zombies. Running zombies would mean they have decent mental capacity so they would not technically be zombies. Most of us live 2 hours from Lake Tahoe. The bottom of that lake is frozen year around. If you believe that a Zombie can't swim and will freeze if left in the cold... I'll be on a large house boat... or 2, or 3... in the middle of the lake. I'll have plenty of fresh water and fish available. Don't have to worry about Zed-sicles climbing up my anchor and I can make supply runs on Tahoe and South Lake Tahoe when things look clear.

My plan is, (assuming my Dad and brother are at home) is to go to our gun safe first off and then my dad gets his over and under shotgun my brother gets his auto-shotgun and I get my M1 garand. Then we fortify our house with wood,steel bars etc. Then we set up a shooting box on the roof (so we can use my M1 to pick them off). Then just wait it out.
