The road sucks..
Jesus the road to home ownership sucks majorly... Finally got the bank to lower the price, but now more escrow problems, because someone accidentally closed my escrow when we were waiting for a response!
Bummer. Sorry to hear it's been so much of a pain. It'll be worth it in the end though. You have no idea how jelous I am.

Let me guess, you are buying a short sale or foreclosure? Many times because of the red tape the escrow takes so long that the price of the home drops, in turn making it less than what you initially offered. I have been seeing that a lot lately. Ill probably be renting my house out and be in the market for something with some acreage
You just got killed by a Daewoo Lanos...How You like me now?

Yes, congratulations on the progress so far. Glad to hear your getting a home instead of giving one up.

Look in to it and you will see it's not BS. There was a big story in 2007 about a judge in Ohio who dismissed numerous foreclosure cases because the lenders don't/can't come up with the original signed copy of the loan document.

Congrads Ferg, it's a long wait, but well worth it, to sit on YOUR porch and have a beer.
Seek the Narrow Gate, for the path is broad and the gate is wide that leads to destruction.

The debate can go on about what percentage of loans are fraudulent but the point is that if you end up going through a foreclosure, defend yourself.

Fraudulent loan = $0 liability
Please guys, do not feed the troll, seriously.
I have always acted in self defense, occasionally pre-emptive self defense.
So after reading this whole thread I forgot what it was originally about for about 5 seconds. I thought Bizcuts already had a home in Sac?
