ok well im doing a project on black hawk down and was wondering if anyone knows the exact gear (or close enough) the soldiers were wearing?

no it's like a final thing... for essay writing and teacher said if i dress up for the part i get extra credit which is pretty much a need atm lol

ya right? highly doubt you can say well the 3rd battalion rocked out with tactical tailor pouches attached to a Blackhawk MOLLE vest, in which was provided by the government, now moving on to uniform, which was made of high quality 3000 count material from ali babwa himself....

The easiest and cheapest one to do is the SFOD impression. Just rock DCUs, a black Blackhawk vest, a Protec helmet, and desert boots. Your prof will never be able to tell the difference. You can "accessorize" with optional items like standard issue sand and wind goggles, some sort of headset, kneepads, not sure about a drop leg etc.

Mike, as a person who's known you for a long time, heed my word on this. Dressing up and going to school in gear will cause nothing but problems. Please, be sane and do not do this. While your teacher may find it interesting, school security, and the administration will not be amused.

no i already got approval from the on-site police officer and no duh on the no airsoft at school... as realistic as they are it's just dumb and i don't think it has to be exact just close enough nobody is going to know if i am off a little bit but i just wanna rock a little bit of gear for the project as it's worth booko points and they will give me extra credit for it.... thanks for the friendly help guys!

tyvm tommy and oh viper it's more or less this is who i'm dressed as and this is who was there and what they di yada yada + 2 portions of boring stuff haha so yea dressing up is the icing on the cake lol
