yeah I hated how a simple machine gun could take down a plane so fast, made it just retarded to try and fly.

i dont understand why you guys just play socom for the ps3... best online multiplayer game by far..
Hum... well hopfully they'll have the bugs worked out of this one. I don't own any kind of a console system, I truthfully don't play games that much. Mostly just when a few friends and I get together.... BF1942 has always been our fall back game. I don't know how many times you can crash a spitfire into a jeep before it's not funny anymore, but we haven't got there yet. I hope this one has that same kinda feel to it. I loved the ships and the planes and whole "feel" of that game. None of the other battlefields have even come close. Not to say they weren't fun, just not the same.

hairy you must get a ps3 so we can play a lil cod haha and this game looks tight but bf:bad company sucked... it was terrible like destrucatbale buildings were cool but the controls and glitchs and everything ruined it...

ps3 is next on my list but only so i have all consoles. I really enjoy xboxlive for MP gaming, left4dead is a perfect example, but not relevant to this thread.
Part of the reason I don't play a lot of video games is I live out in "No man's land". The only internet options are either dial up at around 28K (thanks to 1960's phone lines) or to beam it in from space. Even then it's too slow to play games online. So, a console system is just too much money to not be able to play online, and any game single player gets boring fast. When I lived in Roseville I played BF1942 and BF2 all the time, and I'm sure when I move back I'll start playing online games again.

Awesome I've always been a fan of battlefield 1942 and all of its mods. Heroes should be good as well. anyone spot the bad company 2 link at the bottom?
ps3's network for MP gaming is excellent! and internet browser is fantastic as well, i'm on it right now! haha and srry for hijacking :(

They need to fix BF:2 and do more expansions for it, I had a blast playing it, but now its full of cheaters.
