Ok so I got a Sony Recorder VRD-MC5 DVD recorder. Im plugging it into my computer s video port. However I have no image on the little dvd screen. It syas no signal. My video card is a radeon x300 with current drivers. I have done some net searches and still nothing. SO my question is, how do I get my S Video to work.
Mac or PC? I am almost certain I heard something about Sony and Mac and there are only a few places I could have heard it from. I can track those people down.
The computer is a Sony Vaio. 3ghz 1 gig ram, ATi x300 128mb Video card with on board audio.
Ok so anyone have any good ideas? Still wont give me a image.
I used to do this with my Nvidia 7800 gt's (yes two) and a S-video cable for watching stuff on tv from my computer and there was an option I had to select in the Nvidia drivers menu.

Sounds like you may need to select which screen to display as Despise said.

Yah that sounds best, calling Sony. Way over my head if they are both the same brand.
