Drum Magazines
Ok, I have a G36K and I wanted to get some opinions on drum magazines vs. regular high cap magazines. I did some math on prices and I found that for the price of a drum magazine I can get 5 high cap magazines, but still wont be as much ammo as a drum magazine can hold. Also, I wont have to spend money on a vest because I wouldnââ¬â¢t need it with a drum magazine. So cost wise, the drum magazine is better. But what I wanted to know is there any difference in using a drum magazine than a regular high cap? I was thinking since the drum magazine kind of sticks out on both sides youââ¬â¢d have to hold the rifle differently. So if anyone could maybe give me a some pros and cons for a drum magazine itââ¬â¢d be greatly appreciated.

very noisy, not really a drum mag, still have to "auto-wind" bbs and very bulky but if support is your fortae and you don't mind the noise overall its good

Drum mags are a bit on the weighty side and can put some serious ware on your mag catch. I ran with a Cmag on my AR15 for a while and the mag catch got worn to the point where the slightest jostle would cause the drum to plummet to its doom on the field, it'd probably be the came case with a G36. Also its a helluva alot harder to keep track of your ammo consumption, so you can burn through an entire bag of Biovals in one match. All of that PLUS they break easily, one miss fed bb can lead to catastrophic failure.
Buy 1 hicap and learn aim and trigger control.
Ok, so from the opinions i've gotten on here i think i'm gonna go with regular magazines. High Caps or Mid Caps, i'm not sure yet. The only reason i kinda liked hi caps because it seems you get more for your money.

MID-CAPS FTW! no winding with moderate capacity. imo a rig of good ol' mid-caps are the best + supposedly less jamming then a high-cap can anybody confirm that? :)

I have MAG midcaps for my AK. I think it might've been the best purchase I've ever made for my AK, ever. Light, but thick and tough, solid-feeling plastic.
Gun control is not Crime control.
supposedly i keep saying supposedly lol thats because im basically using a form of t9 to post on my ps3, and from a friend

I had some G&P midcaps for my M4. They were turds. I loaded them all up one night before a game the next day. After that, they generally fed about half of the mag and left the other half to slide around in the magazine. :?

King Arms are also not so great. Well... at least the m14 ones aren't. The thompson ones are awesome. The m14 ones didn't feed at all when I first got them. I uber lubed them and now they feed OK. The still have a tendency to jam for the last 5 rounds or so which isn't all the big of a deal.

I would use midcaps, but G36 mags fit very tightly in my vest so it's harder to just use mid/standard mags without wasting reload time :x
KWA M4
I use MAG midcaps for my M16 and I love them. No rattles and when the bb's stop coming out you know it's time to switch the mag (ie: no winding).
I have always acted in self defense, occasionally pre-emptive self defense.
From what you guys are saying MAG Midcaps are the way to go. Might have to get them instead..

I've seen the converter on a G36 with an M4 mag in it and it just doesn't look right. I know it'd be smarter to get the converter but i'd still rather not get use one just because of how it looks. But the only bad thing about G36 mags is you can really only fit like 1 per pouch. Unless anyone knows a pouch that'd fit atleast 2. I've heard people say triple AK mag pouches will fit atleast 2 but i'm still not sure..
