knives & airsoft

Most people have a very vague understanding of how knife/sword combat really works. It is very bloody, very dirty and often ends in BOTH sides dead. Read some accounts of 17th century rapier duels if you want to make your toes curl.

[quote="CAG_Talon_X13"]Most "knife kills" I've seen aren't realistic anyways. In the real world slashing techniques look cool and would make more of a psychological impact anyways due to all the blood. A true knife-kill would mean thrusting the end of the knife, with full body weight, into a vital organ of the target. And this would just be unsafe out there while airsofting, even with a rubber knife.

If it were me, and some guy pulled a knife out on me, i'd probably flip out. So i'm not really for the "knife kills" :?
