I just bought the UTG WarHawk A-Kalshnikov 47 from shorties and i think i have a good pare of good binoculars laying around. If any snipers are looking I'll email you whenever I go to Galt and just ask me if you want a spotter. I'll go by clock bases (watch your six, 12:00 etc.) and I dont mind not getting the kills. If anyone gets too close to me and the sniper out comes Mr. Kalshnikov. If anyone is interested just PM me. AK-47 will be here in approx. a week.

to be honest with you, sniping in airsoft isn't anything like what you see in the movies. In airsoft, "sniper" targets in airsoft are usually within eyesight and a spotter is not needed.

just roll up to a galt or nam game play for a while and then hang out with a sniper guy if thats your thing. you dont have to get married to a sniper before showing up

yea thats what i meant. but the thing is if you snipers are staring down the barrel of you bolt action looking in one direction at where you "think" someone is, and theres someone running around like an epilleptic chicken and you don't see it, now there a missed kill right?

no, cuz an eppileptic chicken probably cant aim a weapon well enough to be a threat. and also snipers dont just shoot everything. they pick, choose and wait wat there going to do

they will most likely use their eyes and then look through the scope once they see someone.

im not that stupid ive been shooting smaller scoped REAL rifles since i was like 6. If you don't think its a good idea than don't post.

This is what I've been trying to get across. You see someone. You look down the scope. I see someone. You shoot. I call out second kill position. You keep looking down scope. You shoot. Two kills. Get it?

dude thats fine do it... dont have to call/message people at their home to tell them you will do so at the next game. People who just happen to be standing next to a sniper do the same thing a spotter would do (if they need it). during a heavy push by the other team a sniper miiight have a need for such things.

if your willing to play like that then great. I already have a spotter, but if your willing to go the distance you would be a good side. read up on sniping, esp from airsoft sites. it will help u alot. and if ur truly hardcore make a sniper data book for distances to help ur sniper :D

kk. well the only gun im gonna have for a while is the AK.

When we had CW running, We had a 2 man sniper team. Viper and ZachyD.

if u have mildot bring along a measuring tape. jot down some quick surrounding items measurements and set up preset distances for quick refrence. it may be a little over the top but it definently can help if done right.

Cool. i think when i have a couple hundred bucks im gonna buy a good spring sniper between 400-480fps and buy a good scope.

tru. man an SP 40 would definently be a great buy. rare. too

so its like a handheld scope.

mil dot is the crosshairs on the scope. hand held, rifle scope, binocs. some have them some do not.

yeah. quick formula for distance

if i'm gonna learn how to do that ima need a scope with the mildots and you need to teach me in person. when i get my AK i'll be at Galt A.S.A.P.

also for scopes that zoom, you need to find at which magnification the mil-dot formula works. as you zoom in and out it will obviously affect the formula in a not so good way
