Don't let anyone pull you in to the caliber wars. Anyone who tells you this pistol is better than this caliber for killing doesn't know what they are talking about.

the Springfield XD-9 is just about as close to a glock without being a glock. and ive heard alot of good feedback about them.
"Remember Jimmy Mackaway on the yard used to say, If you wanna be making moves on the street, have no attachments, have nothing in your life you cannot walk out on in 30 seconds flat in you spot the heat around the corner..."

Don't everyone hate me for this, but I can't stand glocks. I just never have liked them. I love my 1911 and just can't stand plastic guns. I think glocks are ugly, and I have small hands and glocks just feel fat to me. I know it's just personal taste. I've shot a number of them and know they are great guns, just don't like 'em.

Yea I'm pretty much sold on a Glock 17 or 19. Cheapness of ammo and low recoil sold me. The look, feel and weight sold me on the glock itself. Hmm an 18 would be nice too.

Personally I moved away from Glocks after seeing a few major failures on the engineering side of the weapons. I personally think that Glock is a decent weapon but in the end what it boils down to is what feels best in your hands and what do you shoot the most accurate with.
