heh, no offense to "Gunny" but when the US Navy Seals, British SAS, French GIGN, Japanese JSDF, and our own local Sac PD endorse/carry Sig it kinda sways my bias... but seriously, they're both good guns and it comes down to personal preference/fit unless you're like going to be running in and out of burning buildings or something (or deployed in a freezing cold environment)

My insight on glocks...they WORK.

I have Johnny's old 21... works great. Guess I have man hands cuz it fits just fine. Shoot whatever's cheap at the range when I shoot and keep it loaded with Hornady Tap P+ when its at home. Only dislike about it is its fat... minor thing to dislike. I'll admit I'm not a huge glock fan but... I keep it cuz I know it will go bang.

all in come down to is what your need and sad to say...what you can afford. if you go to war, you probably want something big like a .45, with a tactial light, a laser unit, or whateve you can get from your armory. if you need it for protection, and have limited bank, then if you can only afford a stick...then that's all you got!!

Although it was military issue ball ammo, when I saw a guy here shoot a dog 4 times(including one to base of neck/back of head) and it ran a good 20 meters still I was a little disguested with 9mm performance. I also understand that was shitty 9mm ball, but guess what we shoot!?

a 9 simply doesnt have much stopping power even with hollow points, thats why many leos went to a 40. I have a book here that has a picture of a man who was shot over 50 times and didnt die or stop and sadly he wasnt even on drugs.

I don't think penetration matters as much as mushrooming and the amount of "damage" the round produces against tissue/organs. Look at the initial damage the other rounds do compared to the 9mm...ATM I am in an envirorment where things of this nature are discussed and from he discussions I have had with instructors, 9mm CAN do the job but larger calibers do it better. This is pretty much the consensus I have heard. Is it correct, maybe not. Now is this an end all to the debate?...No, but its what I have "learned".
You just got killed by a Daewoo Lanos...How You like me now?

like i said stopping power, not penetration, its all the about the tissue damage

that was the one I was looking at on CalGuns from a guy in Redding... only PPT though and I'm not keen on driving up there to buy it then to get it after the waiting period. Why the blue one though?

ghey... spray paint will fix that though. I liked it cuz it fits in the front pocket of a pair of pants and its cheap. I thought maybe there was a difference in the manufacturing of the various colors.
