14 years of Kosho Ryu Kempo.
I have always acted in self defense, occasionally pre-emptive self defense.

I'll engage in hand-to-hand combat with all of you guys. At once.

i trained doing bok-fu at maranobles awhile ago and have done a little bit of wrestling, kickboxing, and some weapons training. it's a fantastic place and someday soon when i have the money i plan to go back to practice MMA, they just bought an octagon and it's only 2ft. smaller than the standard UFC one! they also have a boxing ring and alot of cool stuff,

The most important thing to remember in self-defense, no matter what "technique" you use, is that your attacker does not abide by the same "rules" as you. This is why many "trained" fighters are killed on the street. Training for sport is much different than training for survival. Learn the difference between asocial and anti-social behavior.

what talon said is true bute if your just looking for some sport and fun then you should check it out, and also it's not necessarily true. a guy my godfather trained with used to go into bars looking for a fight and used his martial arts training to take out 3 people. and not just once mind you, several deferent times. the main thing to remember is although "technique" is great, it's about how you use it, and sometimes the less fancy approach is better, albeit more brutal, but generally better
