Doing some research to get back into this, conventional wisdom says to get a good quaility AEG and a GBB pistol for closer fun.
not many considering how unpredictable they can be on fps during a hot/cold day. a gbb rifle probably won't perform the same way all day.

tap ur mags, run regulated hpa, have 10x more fun than anyone with an aeg.

I really wanted to try HPA I wasn't sure how reliable or expensive cartridges would be.
My other concern is about how many BB's do you go through in a game?
No CQB City is not set up with an hpa station. How many bbs you go through depends on you every person is different. The closest place to you that I know of to get a tank refilled is Cresent outdoor and supply in modesto at the corner of 8th and H street.
Paintball Extreme would be closer than Crescent, and they've had the cheapest price for HPA that i've seen. The scuba place charged me an insane $11 for my 3000psi tank!! It was $3 at Paintball Extreme. It's off of Palendale.
