Hi

Hi, I'm a noobie to airsoft, and this is my first time on Sacairsoft. My names Justin if anybodys wondering. For my starter gun, I'm having trouble deciding between a Dboys m4 s-system, and the JG basic m4 version. If anybody has suggestions, I'm open to hear them...your all probably like 200x better than me anyway, thanks for your time, and I hope to see you around Ukau's field sometime soon.

You have narrowed it between the 2. So why those 2? You'll get a thousand different answers. Some will say this and some will say that. Who's right and who's wrong? I like chocolate ice cream but my girl likes vanilla ice cream. Once in a while we swap flavors. Once in a while we'll mix 'em together. So what does ice cream have to do with answering your question.

thanks, your advice has lead me to the dboys s-system, reason: full metal body, reinforced gears,RIS, and no barrel wobbly (i hope since the rail is extended), and not to mention..it looks awesome but then again so does the jg...and i did kind of want the jg for fps but i was told that the fps decreases accuracy a bit and jgs dont tend to last long because of their highpowered springs

Welcome, the d-boys are nice on the outside, but i would go with a TM. Also i play at Ukau's Field really often, hope to see you there.

what you have been told is completely inaccurate. FPS has nothing to do with accuracy. The Hopup, barrel and BB is what defines accuracy. The so-called "higher" spring again has nothing to do with the lifespan of said brand. What a lot of people are forgetting is that ACM/Clones don't necessarily have Quality Control as their top priority. It's simple economics, in order to maximize profits at a very low price point, they are willing to sacrifice quality in order to get people to repurchase said toys once the old one has died. It many cases it's cheaper to buy then it is to get it fixed professionally.

I have not been impressed with Dboys products.

I agree with freq, if you go down to AEX, they have some clone m4's(like d-boys, but i think the brand is called A&K) and hten they have regular non clone guns like TM, CA, and more. Go to AEX and buy a gun. Your welcome!

I didn't proof read that as well as I should have. What I meant to say is that the ACM/Clone companies are trying to price their items so low that they are hoping that people are more likely to purchase a new one rather than fixing a broken one. Thereby maximizing their profits through sheer volume of sales.
