Granted that I have not handled a Barrett 468 but I have operated a Heckler & Koch 416.

In a hostile situation I would spend the money on a couple AK/fal/g3/enfiled variants to equip a few people and IED building materials. Shiny expensive shit is easy to jack off dead UN troops.

while muzzle sounds are distinctive. I highly doubt a trained professional is going to get twitchy at the sound of an AK firing next to them. Polish forces use AK's and they're in Iraq and Afghan as one of our strongest European allies. Personally, I get twitchy when bullets are flying by me more than the sound of a firearm going off next to me.

AK/m14/G3/FAL no further carbine/battle rifle development was needed once we had these. PROVEN systems that have been to hell and back and found hell wanting. My motto: If its good enough for Africa its good enough for me. This only applies to firearms :D [/b]
