Are you unscrewing it in the right direction?? It unscrews in a clockwise rotation (backwards).

Ya, the flashiders screw off backwards, so instead of "righty tighty" and "lefty loosey" its "righty loosey" "lefty tighty".........lol

yeah i did but does the "flash hider" fall out or sumthing? or i just turn the screw left and then i screw off the orange

u should just be able to turn it(<the whole thing) right off. u shouldn't have to mess with the little thing on the side of it...like my bros m733 had the same problem, the flash hidder was really screwed on tight when he first got his gun. U should be able to just "muscle" it off...

ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm does that mean it falls out then i just screw the orange tip out?

the flash hider is the orange tip.
Oct 31, 2003 3:22am
umm whut if the screw wont' go out?
Oct 31, 2003 3:24am
Turn it the other way? I really don't see how this is that hard...
Oct 31, 2003 3:25am
are you using the right sized hex key to unscrew it?
Oct 31, 2003 3:57am
Yes i am........I am screwing it left and i see nothing happening....... and im not sure if a screw is suppose to fall out or i just take off the flash hider after screwing it left a lil

Loosen the set screw in a CCW rotation about 2 turns, then unscrew the flash hider in a CW rotation. The set screw doesn't need to be completely removed, just loosened. If that still doesn't work, BREAK IT OFF. It's only plastic.
