reputable machine shop?
anyone know of one in the northern California area? I have a 2.5l sti motor i'm boring and decking but most shops wont touch it. Let me know and please only comment if you have had experience with them.

thanks... i've got a shop now that will do the block work. and re-seat the new valves.
Have you tried Gerolomy or Horsepower by Gerolomy.

you are correct. the finish is of a 80-100 grit. Now with a forced induction motor the ports can be somewhat smooth due to the added psi behind the air/fuel mixture. Carb'd motors need all the help they can get :)
