I'm new to airsoft and not sure if this has been covered.....

I know some inner barrel's are polished and some are not so polished. Some inner barrel's have a teflon coating on the inside (KM head).

done it before on several barrels, the effects were completely unnoticable.

I don't think it really help. The tolerances are so wide open in these things. The bb's may be "precise" but these are not that precise. If you got the ability thought give it a shot. May keep the gun from jamming perhaps by removing the small amount of material.
