Silenced Pistol?

Feb 23, 2005 10:31pm
any particular opinions on silenced pistols?
Seek the Narrow Gate, for the path is broad and the gate is wide that leads to destruction.

I know that AEX in Sac has a Glock 17 metal slide kit that has an adapter to run a silencer and it is removable as well too! Other than that you can pretty much use a suppressor on any AEG or GBB as long as you know enough about using a tap & dye kit.

Depends do you want one where the silencer actual silences the gun. If so I would go with the NBB MK23 or the NBB P99. I say get the P99 kit since nobody has it yet

There is also the KJW USP tactical. Comes with a threaded barrel, but KJW mags kinda suck.

Yeah if you want quite. Go non-blow back. So you don't get the sound of the slide rackin back and forth. Doh.....

Hey Blain I like my TM MK23 its not a exact replica of the MK23 that whent into service but a replica of a prototype that HK gave the navy before the gun was accepted into use most people dont know the diferance so who cares. It is very quiet just a puft sound when fired. it shoots about 325 fps with .20s. the only major down fall is that it is large, a standard USP holster will not due in most casses becuase the triger gard on the mk23 is longer. the Lam unit works kinda, and the silencer works well.

hey limper, do NOT get the ppk, unless you want a $150 wall piece, it looks sweet but like the site says "not for performance" My friend has one and the damn thing works like crap. right now it doesnt even blow back properly and it releases half the mag of gas on the second shot (out of the barrel, actually kinda funny when you see it)

Too bad none of the companies make a "hitman" pistol. Somehting like a Ruger Mk2 GBB with integral suppressor. Give it medium range but real quiet.

oh ya...there's the KJW copy of the WA S&W M6906. It's a NBB and very quiet. The KJW model comes with a threaded barrel for added silencing.

It looks great, but holy crap, 400FPS? That's a bit much for a GBB IMO. AT Ord you can use only pistols indoors. No way they'd let you run with that thing.

use 134a and adjust the hop up...you'll get it down to 300fps...
