Alright, before you all go, "oh man, those are the ugliest models I've ever seen." they are not just model ships. They are made of thin balsa wood and armed with bb and ball barring guns and we went out once a month and fought with them. These have all either taken heavy damage and been quickly and badly repaired or were never finished. Plus, being stored for 11 years with no use hasn't been kind to them either.

I only saw two submarines ever. They are just super tiny. The I400 (HUGE Japanese Sub with an aircraft hanger in side of it, they wanted to use the I400 class to attack the Panama canal) and the French Surcouf (http://ahoy.tk-jk.net/macslog/FrenchSubmarineSurcoufthe.html). The Type 7,9, even the huge type 21s, the gatos, were all far too small to make work. They had to have extra servos for the dive planes and yet the subs them selves were smaller then the surface ships. They are some really impressive models. They were really fun to see out there. Pretty effective too.
