First of all can a standard m16 mag pouch hold mp5 mags?

usually a m16 mag pouch could hold about 3 mp5 mags. as for a soldier then youll be looking at some LBE gear, not tacitcal vests. military rarely carry the MP5s unless your in the navy. even then most likely pilots only wouuld have them. you need to make up your mind on wether your gonna be a soldier based player or a LE based player. LE = law enforment.

I'm leaning more towards the mercinare kinda of deally, like just a solider with whatever he has. *The Galt Team - AK-47, G36C, Aug SR, MP5 SD.* Our group has no uniformeity as of guns but we are going to work on a matching uniform so it should turn out good.

The thing is meat the more you play the more you'll realize you don't need the bulky crappy gear. Don't get me wrong I love my interceptor, but I got my 5.11 Vest, and it rocks... Yea matching uniforms rock, but when only like 2-3 people out of 50-60 at a game are similar in soldier like uniforms, it loses its point.

yeah thats what I was leaning more towards and such. The Contractor look is good but when you get to many of them its gets pretty funky beacuse you get a lot of contractors in on area, dosnet sound right, but whatever. I just want something that is cheap, light, and can hold enought standard mags for me.

Can you link me for that battlelab? Also to Talior Tac. MAV. Is that what ronnie uses?

I tried to google the battlelabs one and it didnt show up for me, but whatever, I don't know if I really dig that one. I was looking at the MAV eairly today and I do like that one alot. Will it work for a smaller guy though? 5'9 - 5'10ish, 140?

alright, dude, honestly, if you wanna go for the columbian mercenary, you might wanna check out Y harnesses.... standard Army pieces of $hit. Watch Proof of Life and Clear and Present Danger... it'll give u a good idea of the kind of fighters that you aspire to. Plus, they're hella cheap, and ya just slap those suckers on a web belt, throw some mag pouches on there, grow out a scraggly beard, and call yourself a mercenary.

The Y - Harness is a little to much. I want to be able to acttully walk with out my vest falling off.

I mean I want something like a sniper harness. Something that will actually have enough room to hold stuff. The Y harnesses are just kinda... ug.
