ok so i've been playing airsoft for a while, about 5 years and currently have a CA SCAR-L with a 3-9 RED/GREEN NCSTAR quick mount scope, and usually play a DMR roll. however i've been wanting to get started in more presion shots so here i ask you should i continue to use my SCAR or buy a TM VSR-10 or something of that body style? the problem is snipers cost a poopload to uprade and im not to great with mech boxes and stuff, always used AEX to solve my problems, don't get me wrong i can to basic maintnece but don't like to venture too far into the internals. so i have three options either seek other means of upgrading (buy the parts in need and have a friend do it for me) or spend a crapload on upgrading to 500fps or just stick with my DMR/ASSAULT rolls. in conclusion sniper or no sniper. i also considered convertin my SCAR into a real DMR and making it semi only and boosting the spring too sp130 or around 500fps. keep in mind im 13 i don't have much $ to throw around and im only about 5.7ft tall and have a fairly advrage 13 year old frame, so heavy guns are not my specialty  .

just stick with what you have. You won't be able to use high powered guns with sacair and if you have any doubts about being able to afford it, you cant afford it.
If I were you, I would just stick with the scar. Airsoft sniper rifles are not like real sniper rifles, they're not as accurate and they cost WAY TOO MUCH. Most of the people who think they can become marksmen get killed in ops first. The only good marksmen are retired Marine Corps snipers. So just stick with your scar, it's a hella good gun.
I'd stay with the scar. Upgrading a sniper rifle is very costly. They can be a lot of maintenance too.
A 13 year old with a sniper rifle just scares me. Stay with the SCAR. at 13 unless your parents spoil you, you can't afford to upgrade a Sniper rifle to competitive status, not even a clone.
13 is to young to meet he Sacair Sniper requirements... Min. age is 16 *if memory serves*

Honestly, I think everyone's gone through a "Sniper" phase. But even if an upgraded sniper rifle is more reliable, this is airsoft, and with the right upgrades, you can shoot just as well with your current rifle. And being able to shell out more rounds at about the same range? That's pretty good.
