I'm putting the sling piece to my bungee sling on my M4 stock, but the wiring is wired to the rear and one of the mini plugs ends right at the end of the buffer tube...so I can't fit the sling attachment piece on...is there anyway to take the plug off momentarily to put the sling attachment on then put the plug back on the wire?
I think I know what is wrong.

Sorry i didn't clarify its just at the point where it slides on. Once i have it on it will clear the wire. Its just this one point where I need to take the wire plug off to slide the wire through. then i can put the cap back on.

Basically how can I get the wire out of the plug. Yank it? Could I just shove it back in?
I'm just going to bring it to AEX tomorrow because I need more work done too.
