You just got killed by a Daewoo Lanos...How You like me now?
if you want to do a study on sea turtles you dont add lake turtles to the control...
Gun control is not Crime control.
the vibe i got from the show was that no average person or someone with a ccw could execute this drill effectively, and that only police officers & the government train enough for it. My opinion was that they were basically saying citizens shouldn't have guns because they do not train enough and we would be a hazard to ourselves.

i like how they use the people that have very limited experience and not show what would happen if someone with experience would handle the situation. Also in the FATS room they use one of the correspondents who acts like one of the people in the snuggie commercials who cant get out of a blanket to answer a phone to show how you "cant get your gun out in time"...
"Remember Jimmy Mackaway on the yard used to say, If you wanna be making moves on the street, have no attachments, have nothing in your life you cannot walk out on in 30 seconds flat in you spot the heat around the corner..."
It was very slanted the way it was narrated, but a point the video made was that you NEED training/experience.
Not a guy/girl who was used to their firearm and holster and comfortable with their weapon. That would be the ultimate experiment. To see if someone who was trained and armed could take out the shooter before being shot.
congrats chris you are the first person i have a quote from on my profile

another note is they left out the psychology of a situation like that they didn't speak to being mentally prepared for what comes
I am Dyslexic Bear with my Posts
They failed on a lot of points.

I thought overall they made some good points, but I still think the only shooters should have been people who currently hold a CCW.
You can't say a particular martial art is infective if you only find people off the street and teach them the basics. And then of course test them in a high stress environment against their instructor.
Using your gun isn't easy. I learned it first hand. Even if you have the training and the weapon, you better have the mind set.
Perfect example of what a CCW holder should be.
